Vitiligo is an autoimmune disease that causes the loss of skin color (melanin) in patches, on any part of your body.

Treatment options:

• Topical treatments: immunomodulator creams and steroids
• Systemic treatment: folic acid may trigger the re-pigmentation process
• Available medical procedures: Excimer laser (308 nm)
