Scar treatment

Scars result from the fibrosis of tissue in the last step of the healing process after trauma or injury. They can be keloid, hypertrophic, atrophic or contracture scars. Each of these types is treated differently. Treatment options include lasers, enzyme injections and micro-needling with PRP. Post-surgical scars, such as caesarean section or tummy tuck scars benefit the most when treated at an early stage; 3 months after surgery.
