Platelet Rich Plasma

Overview

Platelet Rich Plasma is a form of regenerative medicine that can harness the stem cells in plasma to stimulate the skin’s natural ability to heal itself and amplify our body’s growth factors. Plasma is obtained by drawing the patient’s blood and placing it in a special tube in the centrifuge machine. A concentration of the patient’s own plasma is then injected back into the skin. When injected into the vaginal area, it accelerates its ability to produce collagen and elastin, provides significant overall rejuvenation, and results in marked cosmetic and functional improvement.
