Overview:

The skin on the hands is one of the most sun-exposed areas of the body, as patients often do not think of applying sunscreen to this area. This results in extensive damage and signs of aging that can be visibley obvious. There are various laser treatment options that include skin resurfacing using fractional laser, Intense Pulse light laser (IPL), Er:YAG laser or Q-switched laser, which are all available at our clinic.

What you should know:

  • Length of procedure: 15-20 min
  • Anaesthesia: topical numbing cream
  • Results: 1-2 weeks
  • Number of sessions: single session
  • Session intervals: none
  • Maintenance: as needed
  • Downtime: none
  • Please note: the daily use of sunscreen is recommended on the hands as well as the face and neck
