Intense Pulse Light (IPL)

Overview:

Intense Pulse Light (IPL) is a versatile technology and is a staple in dermatology that has shown promising results. IPL is not a laser, but similarly uses light that is converted into heat energy to destroy cells that produce melanin (such as in cases of hyperpigmentation or broken capillaries that lead to the appearance of spider veins). IPL is mainly used for the treatment of sun damage, freckles, acne, melasma, birth marks and spider veins. It is also used for photo-facial sessions to restore radiance and give a beautiful glow.
